My jewelry testifies to the ambiguity of being a Queer man lost in Amerika. It scrutinizes this crabbed and bitter nation through the clouded saline lens of a diminishing community dwindling under the onslaught of diseases of the body and of the body politic. As virus and virulence buffet us, I navigate the slipstreams of heart, gonads and conscience-making jewelry as records of lost chances, vessels of memory, quiet calls-to-arms and as talismans of grief.
